Ground-penetrating radar (GPR) implementation is essential to safety and productivity in underground mines. Our clients required a mobile apparatus that could position the GPR sensors the obtained from Sensors & Software Inc.

KINEMEK'S SOLUTION

We collaborated with PotashCorp to create a striking GPR lift and arm that enabled continuous scanning with a floating system that can smoothly glide along upward surfaces underground.

RESULT

This GPR system was warmly welcomed into the mining environment. Workers quickly mastered how to operate the arm and lift and found multiple applications for it, including recording low, medium, and high frequency GPR using scanners and seismic hammers.
